Dear Readers of ETO,
For a number of months now, our ministry has been communicating with an orphanage in Sierra Leone. As you know, Sierra Leone along with a few other west African countries, has been drastically affected by the outbreak of the Ebola virus. This orphanage in Sierra Leone is no exception, and recently they have experienced a rapid increase of orphans at their facility due to parents succumbing to the disease. In fact, in just one week they were asked to take in an additional 21 orphans.
We are writing this post today to give you an opportunity to help. This orphanage is in need of expansion as well as food provisions for the extra children present. The community around the orphanage has donated an unfinished house to receive the overflow of orphans, but funds are needed to prepare the house with furnishings.
If you are moved to contribute to this need in any amount, you can find details here on how you can give. Please indicate to us that you desire for your gift to go to Sierra Leone. All gift are tax-deductible in accordance with our approved 501(c)3 tax exempt status.
On behalf of the orphans benefiting from your gift, we thank you.
